Cat Updates

At Stray Cats of South Cowichan, we’ve been privileged to witness some heartwarming transformations thanks to the generosity of our supporters. Our dedicated team ensures every cat receives the medical attention, rehabilitation, and love they need to heal and start anew. With every life we save, we’re reminded that hope begins with compassion and that every rescued cat has a story worth sharing. Check out our Facebook page to follow along and celebrate the cats you’ve made a difference in helping.

Saber

Saber is doing really well!! He panicked his foster mom a little when she was finally able to give him some pets and she noticed a very large lump on the side of his face. Off to the vet he went. Fortunately it turns out that he has huge tom cat cheeks and scar tissue from his many battles….He is healing beautifully and his fur is growing back. He still needs a huge dental next month.

Roco

Sweet Roco had his final dental last week and it was another big one. Through it all he has kept his super sweet demeanour. Hopefully if all goes well he will be available for adoption in a couple of weeks.

Sydney

Sydney also had his dental this week. He is doing great and hopefully if his check up goes well next week, he will be able to go to his new home.

Dick

Please welcome Dick into our fold. Sadly his owner passed away and we were very happy to give him a soft landing. Once he has been checked by our vets and he settles in, we will determine the best living environment for him.

Pitt

Beautiful Pitt who we transferred to Katie’s Place a few weeks ago, has been adopted through them. We are beyond thrilled to hear that news.

Frank

Frank got adopted to a lovely family. He is happy (as are they) and he has settled into his new kingdom rather quickly.
